...suggests being windblown.

Something slightly shredded or eroded but not to the point of being illegible.

If you run accross such a style, drop me a note please?

If you don't mind a bit of work, i suggest photoshop's 'wind' filter, maybe combined with some textures in the text to make them look a bit more worn.

Tried it and "out of the box" the effect is too uniform along the verticals of each letter.

Was hoping there might be a font that yields the effect more randomly accross the alphabet.
