Terrible day and week as overcast skies, low light, snow and high winds made it difficult to get a decent shot of any bird... I was lucky to get one...

Norman, nobody said it was going to be easy. :lol: Welcome to Bird Photography 101.

Poor guy looks half frozen. Hope you fed him. Just keep on shooting, buddy. The more you shoot, the more you capture. Pixels are cheap unlike film. :)

Thanks db, I think your right on the blue... It's been wicked cold here these past few days... Had gust up to 50mph overnight and temps were in the teens without the wind...
