if the story is shooting clays, it would be cool to get a closeup of one getting shot, ejection of shells from the gun. maybe a box of clays and clays in the trap, image from the clays perspective, effect of muzzel blast, recoil, the eyes of the shooter looking down the barrell etc.
rifles maybe get shooter in all four positions plus some of the above
Your exposures are good and the images look in focus the horozine is out of wack in one picture but they lack pop, pow, bang. ie. for me you need more images with impact .

Okay on getting close up ( with a telephoto) no way will the safety officer allow me to cross the marked lines....yes on the shells ejecting if the guys are using semi, over under/or side by side the shells stay, also the clays are in the bird houses...my intent today was to simply see the birds and show how vast the new range is. Your ideas are good inputs.
Okay on the misaligned horizon, saw it too. Getting pow and bang is elusive but I have patience to learn and your feedback is appreciated.

Cheers,
Tony

I know this is a hard critique, but to me, they just look like snapshots.

Perhaps get a couple bullets and have them in focus with a gun out of focus in the background. Work for your photos. Sometimes they don't always present them self to you.

That's one nice looking M1. I shot expert with that gun two years running as a Marine. Really accurate weapon. ;)
