HDR people

Here's a couple of shots I took and turned into HDR. Although I don't spend too much time with HDR, I find it very interesting, if done with the right amount. These two examples are more on the 'overdone' side. Let me know what could be improved. Thanks.

I thought the first image was a bit overdone, because my little cousin's face looks like it's made out of plastic, lol. It could just be me though.

Oh, forgot to mention that both images were taken with the 17-85mm lens.

I think they look really great, not overdone at all.
