Jan 04, 2010 08:52 | #4 I decided to use my 28-135 for a portrait shoot recently. I hadn't used it in a long time because I got sucked into all the "L" talk. I loved the results. For what I do it was more than enough quality. I think I'm right there with you on this one

It is a really nice lens for the money. My resolution is just to get out and shoot more, so I can enjoy the great, albeit older, equipment I do have; instead of dreaming how nice it would be to have a 1D3 or a 1D4. Eric
