I'm with you, only because I don't have the money to get what I could really use for certain applications.

But if all goes well........I 'd like to see a 135L in my future and maybe a UWA too.

Your camera is alot smarter than the "M" Zealots would have you believe

I've always liked photography as a little kid, but never had a camera. I recently just bought a Canon Rebel T1i and just began taking pictures as a hobby. My new years resolution is to take at least one picture a day for this whole year. I am new at taking "professional looking photographs" so I decided to join this forum for help on how I can improve on my photography. I hope I can achieve my new years resolution and hope I can get help from this forum.

I am with you - almost. I have been saving for about 6 months for the brick and should be able to land it after tax season. Other than that, I really need to focus less on the gear (not a huge problem) and just get out and capture images. My goal is to take at least one day a month and go to a spot here in So Cal that I have not shot and spend 2 - 4 hours shooting it...

I'm not doing so hot on this one. I guess I haven't technically broken it as I have not bought anything, but I certainly have spent time lusting after gear on the interwebs. Maybe it is a lost cause.

As soon as get those six pack abs, I will be able to stop looking at gear! :)
