Hi All,
Sorry, wasnt sure where to post this - so please move if in wrong place.
I have asked to photograph an event for work, which will involve hundreds of mothers and their babies, coming up one at a time to have their photo taken.
I have never done anything like this before, and have only worked with studio lighthing once (which saw my photo appear in all the national papers - but I dont think it was because of the awesome photography!)
So my first question is the setup.
I will be using my 450D and will hire a lens. Was thinking a 16-35mm f2.8L?
I will setup a white background and will hire two studio lights. Is it best to have these on model mode and always on? Or on flash mode?
Now I will have two photos printers which I will hook up to my Macbook. I am not sure what software I will use yet - I have lightroom, iphoto, aperture - are they good to use or do I need something else for this type of thing?
Lastly - i wanted to have the photos appear on the screen in real time was i take them? So I can take a couple of snaps, choose the best one and print. I will only have a few minutes with each baby and mother - so need to come up with the most effective way I can pull this off!
Thanks in advance,
Joe
