Hello,

My wife and I took a trip to Canon Beach this summer and we stumbled upon a washed up log with these things were all over it. I took probably 50 pictures of it and this was my favorite. Just trying to figure out what they are, I have never seen them before!
I think they are a barnacle of some kind, there was for sure some little critter moving around in there.

They look like goose barnacles.


Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.
