This shot was taken when the snow was coming down pretty good so it turned out soft. I also chopped off her feet but I felt the the scene as a whole with the snow coming down made it worth posting.

Thanks for looking.

yeah, too bad about the feet.. but even so, I really like this image a lot. I like the breath against the dark background, the rim light, the exposure, the red branches and white weeds in front.. I'm glad you posted it.

Oh, the feet are no problem. I like the image this way. A deer's feet are a long way from their heads, so if you always include everything right down to the feet you're giving less emphasis on the head & body. When I shoot deer, I usually have the feet in the frame, but then intentionally "chop them off" while cropping in post processing. Most of the cover shots of Whitetails on hunting magazines also chop off the feet. To each his own, but I like the image you posted just the way it is. Nice work!

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Very nice. I need to try harder to get some wildlife shots. Or should I say, "I need to try!"
