Honestly, they simply look out of focus and exposure is too hot on a few...though on this laptop everything runs hot so may not be.

1, 2 looks as if the uni's are hot, 2 more so. Over all lighting looks good. Nice set, and I assuming 23 is your daughter.

3 should be sharper for that shot. Overall good series.

Gottcha18,

I like this set, but agree with the posters above regarding softness. Also, I'm local
in Newburgh as well, but shoot in a smaller town just north called Marlboro. Gym lighting
up here is dreadful. Every bulb is a different age and color. Strobes are interesting, but
I'm not ready for that step. I'm shooting tonight for the first time this year, we'll see how it goes.

I agree on the slight softness. Possibly some increased PP or faster shutter speed required (above 1/500 and wider than 3.2. Very nice though.

There's not many bodies out there that will let you go that high with strobes....almost all are 1/250

As stated my max shutter with strobes is 1/250 and these are straight from the camera - Auto layer adjustments - cropped. My pp skills are very limited but ill try to do some adjustments and see how they turn out.

Were those shots with the 7D or 50D? Basketball lighting conditions are tough. These are very good shots though.

What was your lighting setup? What power levels on your lights?
