This is the new bridge, from Charleston to Mt Pleasant. I took the pic, while out on the water Saturday.

Nice shot - is this bridge going to replace the old Cooper River bridge, or will it serve in addition to the existing one?

This bridge is 8 lanes wide, with a bike/walking path as well. They are going to take down both of the old bridges.

I like your beautiful picture of that cable-stay bridge. We first became acquainted with this style of bridge in Europe - I'm glad to see that they have made it to the States.

This bridge is just begging to be photographed. It has all kinds of interest. I like this photo a lot. I also saw one in another post (yours?) taken from a distance across the marsh grasses and loved it as well.

That place is on my "must capture" list for when I do an East coast trip.

Yes the other pic was taken from Magnolia Cemetary. They are planning to have the bridge open to traffic, July 16, 2005 after a week of celebrations.
