1.Choose one of the photographs to use as the canvas on which all the others will be “painted”
2.Copy one of the remaining photos into a new layer
3.Create a layer mask for this photo
4.Fill the layer mask with black to mask out the new photograph.
5.Using the brush tool, paint white over the area of the new photograph you’re located at. This will reveal you seamlessly since, aside from your body, the backgrounds are nearly identical .
6.Continue painting until everything in the new photo you want to reveal is revealed, and nothing looks out of place.
7.Repeat until all the your clones in all the other photographs are added to the original photo

Victor if you still have elements you won't have the paint black and white option as this is in photoshop.

1.In elements open up the first image
2.Open up second image and copy and paste in in the first
3.The layer that says backround in the pallete on the top right double click and click on okay
4.In the pallete drag the first image so it is on the top
5.Make sure the first image is selected in the image pallette
6.Delete the area on the first image to reveal the person in the first

Repeat the above as necessary

Sorry, i didn't realise that you only have elements Vic. I'm not sure if its the same in elements, but if you hold the shift key whilst moving the image with the "move" tool, it will align the images on top of each other exactly.

Have not tried that, what I do is on the toolbar at the top click on select it then gives you the option of select all, then copy and paste and it will align them.

Here is a quick one from me and four arms, ignore the head it was only a very quick effort

I wonder how many of those free laptops get sold within the first week.

And today they also cut £300m , the cost of said laptops and broadband they are giving away, from the higher education budget.

Why do parents even need to monitor their progress at school online? Thats a f*cking huge waste of £300m. All the while these things keep happening, i cant help but think that Labour are trying to mess everything up as much as they can before the (conservatives?) get into power. Then they can sit back and say "god, this economy is awful, why arent you sorting it out?".

Brown was so lucky that the global economic crisis happened when it did, as it overshadowed all the cock ups he made made with our economy before then.

Can anyone here recommend a good NAS solution? I have been looking at the Drobo, but i think that it is allot of money for a raid array that has no ethernet connection.

I would ideally like 4 bays, hot swappable and be less than £300-£400.

Once I've got back on track financially (this going permanet malarky has hit me quite hard!)
Then I will be getting one of these...

Oh, and I've applied for the Paypal Pro thingy, so should soon be able to take Credit card payments, I hope it pays off!

Hi guys and dolls

Don't mean to teach you to suck eggs but just in case you were not aware of it, here are a few links to the freelance photography page on the NUJ (National Union of Journalists) website which I thought might make interesting reading for those looking to make money from photography.

Here freelance photographers have posted what they’ve been paid by magazines - http://www.londonfreelance.org/rates/photomag.html (external link); this is what national newspaper have paid them - http://www.londonfreelance.org/rates/photonew.html (external link); here’s what regional newspapers paid - http://www.londonfreelance.org/rates/photoreg.html (external link); and finally, online publications - http://www.londonfreelance.org/rates/photoonl.html (external link).

Have a poke around on the freelance photography page. There's many tips out there.

Best,
Cindy

Cindy, thats a great resource, and one I often forget. thanks for reminding me.

Getting that kind of money (without a good agency behind you) is always tough. It's one area of my business that I suck at!

Hey guys...

I thought this was a thrush when I first took a photo of it a few days ago.

QUOTED IMAGE

I just found out that it's actually a Redwing. A completely new species for me, so I'm happy with that.

Yes, Redwing. I have before digital some prints of a flock of about 30 that descended on the trees nearby to where I used to live duriuing a snowy winter. They are as commeted mainly seen on framland but do come to town when very hungry and nothing to forage for on the hedgerows & woods ~ we have seen the odd ones & twos very so often since. Good capture :D

If you allow an edited image it does boost nicely with a haze cutting ???

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Hmm obviously feeling insecure as I am about to do some backing up.

Ian on news they are giving away laptops and free broadband access, I imagine if you claim you are a single parent you will be first in the queue.......Brown stated so parents could monitor their little darlings school progress on line. Estimated cost £300 million, first thoughts isn't there a recession on and while the hell do I go to work when other people get everything given to them. Best get off my soap box;)

My first thought was ~ if they are giving them away just make sure they means test the recipients i.e. those that are on the dole/benefits but have plasma TVs, 60 a day habit, Wii, Gameboys et al are not elligble.

Where genuine need exists in specific areas they need telecottages or more comonly called now Internet Cafes or better yet computer rooms in in the places that school age kids go..............hang on a mo we have those already, they are called schools aren't they??? ;)

And as for the lappies well make them the windup ones already used in deprived countries!

Yes, we need a more connected society because there those that are technology deprived but the way to get kids more engaged with using such tech is not IMO to "simply" give it away! And surely the roll out of better Broadband should be universal not "group" targeted?

Right of me soapbox as well ;)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p
