You're probably right, they can't be far off making one, although you'd be tied in to using iPhoto and it would only take holiday snaps.

I've got Tuesday and Wednesday off work next week if anyone want to do some shooting. SWMBO was talking about Folkstone Harbour?

Nearly 12 hours since I have held my fastest lap. I dont think Pete has checked yet. Just realised also you can check car stats

Me - 01:03.856
Datsun 510

Horsepower: 119
Torque: 116 lb-ft.
Curb Weight: 2053 lbs

Pete - 01:04.110
Datsun 510

Horsepower: 120
Torque: 124 lb-ft.
Curb Weight: 2167 lbs

That is a pretty good insight for anyone else who is interested in taking part. :)

Yeah yeah, rub it in, why don't you.... :D

I saw this morning and had a quick stab at it, but couldn't get back into the 1:04 zone again. The annoying part for me now is the uphill chicane after the arch. For some reason, I can't take it as fast as I used to.

Keep going Steve, its a pain getting the right parts to find what works for you. Anything around the 1:08-1:05 mark is do-able after a few laps.

Have a look at Pete's map
https://photography-on-the.net …?p=9480628&postcount=4679

From the start line to point (2) you can take pretty much flat out, just watch out for the added curb which may make you bounce or invalidate your lap at (1).

Point (3) is easy to clip but watch out for wheelspin.

The sweeping left before point (4) is doable with a good speed with an early brake into the corner.

(4) can be taken pretty much flat out, just ease off the throttle a bit and just pay attention at (5) since the gradient and camber change pretty quicky.

Other than that, you should be fine. :)

I didnt even realise I hit a 1:03 to be honest. I did a 1:04.something and decided to call it a day. This was after about 50 laps or so.

As I checked, I was shocked. Was more surprised to see how different our cars have been running. I reckon you could hit a 1:02 with my tune setup/parts but im not giving it to you that easy. I was a bit worried since my P.I. index dropped but it worked out well. I tried the more power option and was blazingly fast on the straights but corners I just ran wide, was having to brake earlier and harder with no joy.

I am bogging down at the left hander at point 2 and too much wheel spin at point 3. The last corner is just a disaster at the moment. :)

I take it I need to upgrade the gearbox etc to be able to change the settings?
