The eneloops are ok but I don't tend to leave my rechargables sitting that long without use for them to be worth it for me. I'd rather have higher capacity. Need to find a bulk lot on Energizer lithiums really, those batteries are awesome. It still works fairly well, but the batteries tend to jump out if you bash it against the skirting board too quickly.

Yeah, they retain charge like normal batteries. I find that to be a great feature as sometimes i will not use my flashes for a month at a time and to be able to just pick them up and go rather than having to charge/top up the batteries before i go is great.
