I have the 24-105 and the 100-400 so if i was sensible i would sell the 70-200, but i cant. its my favorite lens for image quality. Rob

I have only ever put UV filters on the 70-200 when going to the beach and when flying debris is very likely (re-enactment shots and enduros). Rob

I was more concerned about the filter size for circular polarizers and ND filters as they are quite dear.
