They're great that's for sure, but have you checked out the shots here on POTN? I'm quite a regular in the Birds Section and stunning images pass through there very often.

Rich, how does it run with another OS. If you slap a Linux live CD in for example do you get the same battery life. If so the battery is your problem not Windows. Lion batteries do just suddenly die though, in the space of two weeks I went from getting 4 hours from my laptop battery to 20 minutes.

I should also add the last few times I've had the laptop out it's been bloody cold which wont help of course.

I've managed to run the laptop for over an hour this morning on battery and still going.. although been indicating 3% available for ages! (I turned off the outo hybernate on critical battery option.

Maybe it's just going into hybernate too early, if it's never filling the battery and trying to hybernate too high then that might not be helping.

Sounds like it's just misreading the battery information.

Ordered my softbox, flash brackets, cold-shoe clamps & RF-602's yesterday at 2pm and they came today! Now that is what I call service .. :D
