LMAO - there's some truth in that but not all directors fell into the job, a few of us worked our way up through the ranks You can work your way through strategy a whole lot faster if you actually understand what you are talking about

You obviously have the benefit of understanding business and IT though
In the company I work for budget and bottom line are more important than expanding our IT facilities at the moment He's not a bad guy though, just takes more explanation than before .
My responsibility of dealing with the regions IT is being taken away thankfully, I spend more time doing that than I do my contracted work.

Hahaha, im just putting together a shopping list for camera gear. Im tempted by having a 1Ds around now. Paired up with some Zeiss would be fun.

I want to head into London shooting sometime. Im itching to go tomorrow.

Whats ya budget? I have my Manfrotto which you might want unless its too heavy.

not sure really was just going to go have a look and see what's what. However, I vowed never to shop in jessops ever again though after they shafted me over camera repairs once before

I guess it's a bit different when you're going in and buying what you want. They've either got it in stock or not.
