Shot the GA Tech and Kennesaw State women's basketball game a couple weeks ago. I was trying to work on getting different shots, for me anyway, so I would love to hear what you think. I tend to stand under the basket and capture all offence.
I shot this with a Canon MKIII at 2000 ISO with a 35 F2, 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 lens. I also used a Canon 5D classic a bit.
I wanted to work on catching the physical side of the game. I also wanted to capture things away from the ball and not always around the basket/paint:

I wanted to capture the emotion/effort of the game:

KSU OWLS!!! My Alma Mater! Awesome shots! Didn't have time to go to games back then. As a matter of fact, don't think they had teams back then, lol. Maybe I'll have to visit, watch a game or 2. Thanks for sharing. D-Ray

Ray,

No problem. They are a fun team to shoot, and the court is a great place to shoot as well.

Come out and see a game...

Jon
