I took this while at Middleton Plantation, this weekend. The Peacock is one of the resident "pets".

beautiful colours they show when opened out like that. very spectacular .
very nice composition in the picture

this one seems to be very near you on the grass
he must be used to people
why he is a 'pet'

Darn! I was just getting ready to post the peacock image I got this weekend with my 100-400L. Was out playing and caught this fellow in full strut

Not bad.
