now I have hoops done. I decided to follow all the wisdom here and bounce. I bounced off ceiling, back wall above each rim. Not the best set up here, but I eventually found my shooting zone.
It worked well tonight, but not sure I would do it again.
I sat in one corner with my 70-200 shooting close with on strobe on channel 3 firing. for the other side I used my 300 opposite strobe on
channel 4.
These are the 50D shots; need to do the 7D's tomorrow. All imported in Lightroom, color adjusted (ADVICE ON SETTING WHITE BAL WITH STROBES WANTED)

6) Dark, I know. Taken with camera on floor and pointing up, on the almost last, final free throw. I caught the image I wanted, just not the lighting. See you in Lightroom! (* 50D; 1/250; f4.5; 110 mm; ISO 250 *)
7) The set up -- bouncy councy
