Our twins, Amon and Emma, are finally a year old. It's getting harder and harder to take pictures and keep up with them! I think it's time to buy something with USM, maybe the 17-55 f/2.8 IS.

Here are a few 1 year pictures I took of them, there are more on my flickr. C&C welcome.

First of all, the kids are beautiful! Second of all the pictures are great! What lens did you use? That last picture is a precious moment....you've gotta frame that one!

OP, without question, #3 is one that needs to be printed, framed, and prominently displayed in your home. Utterly fantastic!!!

Thanks everyone! Shot with the 50mm 1.8 at f/2.2 or f/2.5 I think. We're planning to order a large canvas of #3! :)

Wow, these are great and your pp came out nice. They have a very classic, timeless look to them.

I will go outside the box and say that the second image is the best
it really just jumps off the page

Love the emotion of #3 - as for the 17-55, go for it, you won't regret it. Mine is almost never off my camera when I am chasing my 2 year old around!

Thanks! I happen to really like #2 as well, the way her coat is back lit and her grabbing the little door that is swinging open gives it a 3D look.
