Can you describe (or show) how you're flash was setup ? because I tried taking a similar picture of my girlfriend's eye, however, the flash caused a big glare on her eye, and her eyelashes cast shadows. My first legit camera is a Canon AE-1 Program, given to me as a birthday present from my best friend. And so my obsession begins...
