Hey is that a fishing boat? Not a smart place to surf it it is....

Really nice shots!! I'll be just south of Fletcher Cove on Saturday and Sunday surfing and then hopefully taking a few shots after i get out of the water!! The swell is supposed to be good this weekend!!

You misspelled Swamis.

When there are crowds like that, it's pronounced Swarmies.

I love that place, and Tamarack. Had good times at Cardiff too.

For the most part if you surf at swamis on a big day you better be experienced..... So there is a general understanding of where you should and shouldn't be when someone is riding a wave and timing plays a big part in that.

Thanks, the first shot was taken when it was cloudy and I was shooting in P mode at:
Shutter: 1/500
Aperture: f 8.0
ISO: 400

The other shots (most of them) in partly cloudy conditions
Shutter: 1/800
Aperture: f 10.0
ISO: 400

I agree, I have some shots from Dec 07 with 2x more surfers. I cant wait for tomorrow and the rest of the week. Im looking forward to what you post....
