thanks guys, it's a while since this thread was last active. I actually redid that pano recently because there where a few things that bothered me about it. My PP skills have improved a lot since I first tried it.

it the taken from the top of the hill behind the observatory in Griffith Park. Good place for hiking and views.

Update: The LA pano is now an award winning photo. :)
