Newb Question for Canon S5 IS

Hello all,

I am a newbie on this forum so please excuse me if this question is very elementary. I have a Canon S5 IS and I would like to record a video feed from an underwater camera I have for ice fishing (the FishTV 7 from http://www.getfishtv.com/store/?cat=FishTV (external link)). The video output on the underwater camera is RCA and the A/V jack on my Camera is 2.5mm. I have a cross over cable that adapts the two.

I've heard it's possible to record an external source on a Canon Video Camera by connecting the two ports with a crossover cable and I suspect that it may be possible to do on this camera. However, I cannot find any posts on here, any info in my owner's manual, or any other sources on-line.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Many thanks in advance!

There is no video input if that's what you mean.

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.
