Today I turn it on and the thumbnails pop up untill they all are showing the image, then they all turn to an icon. Close the folder and re open, it does the same thing. 1 by 1 they show till all the thumbnails are showing, then boom! they are gone and back to icons!

Search this section on how to clear the cache for cr2 thumbnails. I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.
