I Have been using this weifeng tripod for a month now and it's the best bang for buck tripod I can think of.

It is sturdy for
1. Canon 1000D
2. Canon 430 ex
3. Tamron 17-50mm non vc

it has a ballhead.

My question is, will the ballhead be replaceable with those benro's and manfroto ballheads?

You secure the camera using a circular piece with a single screw. Not sure how much weight it can hold tho.

I have the wf3642B model.

This thread is the same size as the bottom of my camera.

I am planning to replace it with these heads:
Benro BR 168 (external link) and Benro BR 268 (external link)

Won't be a problem. They're standard.

right. sometimes the stud will reverse but not usually on cheaper tripods.

Thanks ed

I was about to return the head. Hope I get to see that tripod adaptor here and be able to use it right away.

i have checked the tripod and bought a bushing adaptor. the weifeng tripod has a 1/4" thread so i needed an adaptor for it to make it a 3/8" to fit the benro head.

IMAGE: http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l163/johnj2803/IMG_0027.jpg

luckily, this wiefeng tripod is double sided and both sides are 1/4" threads

So now i have a good benro head on a very stable tripod! :D

thanks guys :D
