I have a Tamron lens that we bought back in 02 for my film camera that I haven't used at all since upgrading to digital. It's a 28-300 3.5-6.3 and it's model # is 185D. Any ideas what to sell this guy for? I paid $615 for it new but cannot even find one to compare it too, probably because it's older.

Any advice is appreciated.
Kristin

If the lenses I found on eBay are the same, you may be able to get half of what you paid. Here is the link...check it out and see if this is what you are looking to sell. Best of luck!!

Sadly, It is probably worth about $150. The newer VC model goes for only 300ish. It would be an attractive lens if it werent for the 1.6x crop factor which makes is less of an all-in-one.

I have the same lens, except it's the A06 model. Still the same 28-300 3.5-6.3 though. Problem with third party lenses is the prices drop like hot pockets after you buy them. :(
