Advice on price for older lens

I have a Tamron lens that we bought back in 02 for my film camera that I haven't used at all since upgrading to digital. It's a 28-300 3.5-6.3 and it's model # is 185D. Any ideas what to sell this guy for? I paid $615 for it new but cannot even find one to compare it too, probably because it's older.

Any advice is appreciated.

Sadly, It is probably worth about $150. The newer VC model goes for only 300ish. It would be an attractive lens if it werent for the 1.6x crop factor which makes is less of an all-in-one.

I have the same lens, except it's the A06 model. Still the same 28-300 3.5-6.3 though. Problem with third party lenses is the prices drop like hot pockets after you buy them.
