I was bored and was looking at the lenses on the Zeiss website. I stumbled upon the Zeiss Distagon 15 for the Ikon/Leica mount. Talk about drool! :) I'm a wide angle buff and I drool over nice UWA lenses. This would by far be nice lens to see in a ZE mount. :)

Personally I don't think the ZE mount buys much for my experience with MF lenses. I am quite satisfied with manual aperture control.

The zeiss lenses also look good!
Those heavy black metal beauty's!
I think that would be a killer lens!
This week I felt in love with the images of the zeiss 21, what would this be..?

Still won't work, it's Leica M-mount, or rangefinder lenses, with a very short register distance. Won't work except for extreme macro, if you can get focus at all, on Canon.

Kind regards, WIm

Well if you are cool paying $4k for a 15mm f2.8, then adding on the digital M9, should be OK, right? :p

The optical construction would have to be completely changed since it's a rangefinder lens.
