Has anyone else here found the view finder info is too dim to read in the 5D MKII (very much like the 30Ds)

The 7D is nice and bright, as are the 1D MKIII, 450D, 350D but the 5D MKII is so dim that in any light situation I cannot see the lighted info at the bottom of the viewfinder screed..

Any ideas folks?

I always find it hard to read when shooting in to bright light, I have posted before about it hoping it was adjustable, I find it annoying and a pain, it is a lot dimmer than my 1D MK3, well in fact any other Canon I have owned.

I just checked all cameras again and the 5D MKII is by far the dimest so it is off to Canon I go.

Thanks for your replies.:)

I noticed this also. I just got a 7D and WoW! it is really bright ...I can easily read the info in full Sun.

Please let us know what you were able to find out about this problem and best of luck.
