Beautiful sunny day, and my first real opportunity to shoot skiing with my 40D. These shots were taken with a sigma 10-20 lens with a cpol attached. f9, iso 200, 125-400. I wish on some of the actions shots, (not posted) i would have opened the aperture a bit as the skier wasn't quite sharp. But all and all, a very nice morning.  Top o the mountain to ya!  Creamy powder snow going down  Canon 40d, sigma 10-20, canon 28-135, canon speedlight 430exII.

Jan 08, 2010 16:28 | #4 You bet, a top loader bag in front of the chest holds it nice and tight, even when jumping off of stuff, and gives good access. I went again this morning at dawn, and it would have been amazing, but, I forgot the camera!! Arg!! Canon 40d, sigma 10-20, canon 28-135, canon speedlight 430exII.
