I have been chasing Northern Shrikes for quite a while without much success. I got lucky with this juvenile.

Very Nice Image of this Youngster love the pose...

These are Very difficult birds to Photograph I am finding out, I have one here that's I have seen in the yard on half a dozen occasions now, Its been after a few of the smaller birds around the feeders, I always thought these were larger than what they are, there pretty small birds overall.

What a nice close up of an elusive bird, you can really see the difference with the "hooked" beak compared to the Loggerhead.... pretty shot Sprint... well done.
I see this guy about every few months, but more during the winter... their presence sure can disperse the chickadees and RBs in short order... ;)
