It was a foggy day here in the Sacramento valley, but when given a day off, take advantage of it! My brother and I headed up to a course we hadn't played before, The Ridge, in Auburn, CA. We climbed up through the fog and low overcast to be welcomed by the sun and, what we hoped, would be a great round of golf.
Well as the golf gods usually do, the round was challenging with sun, fog, mist, wind and a wet course. We had fun and it gave us a chance to take some shots of our round...
1. this was a 1/60s shot with my 5D and a 70-200 f/4. doing the math, the ball is going 90mph in the pic. this was my favorite shot
2. the view down the fairway of the 14th
3. 10 min after we were in the sun the fog rolled in and we were left with this scenery. i converted it to b&w for a more "haunting" look
4. the course was so wet that my 7 iron plugged just short of the green after a 160y approach shot
5. a shot of where my brother spent most of the day. his out got him to within 3 feet of the cup!
C&C is always welcomed and appreciated!
Cheers
