can anyone tell me the location of any beaches in Florida that also have rocky areas on the beach (meaning bolders, etc) not just stones. the beaches I've been to in the Daytona/Cocoa/Tampa/St Pete area are flat beaches of sand. and I'm looking for a change in scenary for photo locations

thanks for your help

I live in Florida and have not found a beach yet with a lot of boulders like you are describing. Best thing I can think of is finding the beaches with a pier or palm trees.

Well, there is (or was) a beach that has large boulder-like pieces of coquina. I've been there several times, but not recently. It is on Flagler Beach, right across A1A from the Washington Oaks State Park, as I recall. The nearest town is Bunnell, just off I-95. If it's still as I last saw it, you will find it to be a very photgenic spot. Not sure it the water covers it all at high tide.

Not a native, but 50% of my family lives there and I travelled a lot around FL. Never seen any rocky shore. Of course, this does not means that they are non existant.
