I thought I'd share this shot I captured during my Christmas vacation. I do like the Red Bellied woodpecker.

I can't get a Bed-bellied woodpecker to sit still long enough to get a shot of him at the beef suet. I guess you win some and you lose some.

Red Bellies are a challenge to photograph. At least for me.

Thanks for the comments Dan. They sure are fun birds. Hopefully the weather will clear up and we get some better light so I can spend a little more time improving my field techniques.
