Thx! That was with the 300 F4 IS with no TC wide open at sunrise near the Mission Mountains(background). About 1/60th hand held. Could not have gotten the shot at 5.6.

This is the same elk a few minutes earlier. I caught it watching the sunrise over the Mission Mountains wilderness as I crept up in the grass. Not sure what I was going for here but I liked the drama. I couldn't really get the elk fully due to it being spooked, and it was too dark really. But the sunrise was cool:
