I don't remember what camera/lens combo I was using for #s 1, 3, and 4. However, for the 2nd shot, I was using a Nikon D60 with a AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm lens (the D60's kit lens).

1. I feel like the green color that I photoshopped in was the only exotic color I could use while still maintaining the overall realistic feel of the photo. Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

2.This shot was taken from a balcony at the Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

4. I feel this shot is missing something (or maybe vice versa). It could be the large amount of empty black space in the edges of the photo. Please give me feedback on this shot particularly. Thanks.

Actually I think this shot is the best of the series. I really like how the light hits the carved column that creates a border on the left. I would crop this so that there is less of the dead black area on both the left and the bottom of the photo. This would also serve to move the subject to the lower left third of the shot. You could probably punch up the color a little as well. I also like how the overall lighting tends to move the focus to the subject. Good shot.

I agree with Jim - #4 is the best of the series.

(Just a note- the OP doesn't have Image Editing OK on, which is why I left it alone.)

What I was suggesting wouldn't be as drastic or cut as tight. I would probably only remove about half of the original black space on the left and bottom.

oops, you're right jim, no image editing on, but I thought since they're asking, if it's a problem, let me know Noah, then I'll take it down.

4th one is def the best. I wouldn't crop it as much as the one edited post was. Somewhere in the middle of the original and edited I would crop. (Only from the bottom left corner though) I like the space to the top and right.
