The wife and I took a short hike up Wahkeena Falls trail today to Fairy Falls. This is one of the most photographed falls areas in the state. The trail is easy and takes you by Wahkeena Falls (at the roads edge), Necktie Falls (never did see this one) and Fairy Falls on the way to Devil's Rest (we pooped out before that). Wahkeena Creek runs the full length of the trail giving many photo opportunities. This photo of Fairy Falls is one of about 8 I took experimenting with water flow and water hang. Comments and critque always welcome. Editing is OK by me.

Now Dave, no fair posting waterfall shots without telling where they are. BTW, nice shots of a beautiful waterfall.

These are both nice shots of the falls. I think I like the second one. There's more of a sense of motion.

Columbia River Gorge. Wahkeena Falls is on the Columbia Gorge Scenic Highway 0.5 miles west of Multnomah Falls Lodge. Just off I-84 east of Portland, Oregon.

Oh, and turn right at this sign...
