One of my favorites from an afternoon with my sister, letting me shoot her to improve my people photographing skills. Air temp was around 11 degrees around the time this was taken!

C&C welcome! This is straight from the camera, with no pp other than resize. 7D & 200 2.8L.

Excellent image, the framing works well. Technical nitpick, I think it would look better if her face were a little brighter, and maybe a little more overall contrast in the image.

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

Is there a reason why you have done no PP? I only ask because I think this could be a nice photo with a little bit of work done on it.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm thinking if I would have used a tripod, it would of been much sharper in the face area, this was all handheld at 1/400. It was cold out, and even I had the shivers! I haven't done any PP on it yet since I haven't time since yesterday afternoon when I shot them. I'll work on it a bit tonight and see what I come up with!

I love it!!! Your sister is beautiful and looks like she has a wonderful spirit. A little PP would make this image pop and give it that little something extra but it doesn't really need it. It's great!!! Nice work!

I owuld have tried the same shot but move a bit so that the stone wall was in the bg not the blown out sky. Also could be sharper. That's used to be my main problem with xxD series. And make here turn her body a little sideways to the camera.

This is what I came up with for pp.

Please note, I'm very new with pp'd photos, and it's apparent I will be learning for sometime!

I like it better than the original, and I'm awaiting my sister's thoughts on it.

Thanks!

Rick

That looks pretty good to me - this edit isn't "flat" like the original.
