Nah, would have been more fun with the 24mm...at least for the tiger. :p

j/k Great portrait of a magnificent animal!

LOL!

Would have been really fun for the tiger. 😁😁

Great shots of the heron and the glacier guys! Mixing it up a little with the copper smith barbet here.

This thread is hard on me!
I have a 70d and a 6d and I keep coming back to the idea of selling both the get the 1d4. As soon as I have myself convinced to stay where I'm at I look here and I want a 1D series so bad I can't stand it!
Beautiful shots here folks.

Then you will be asking for trouble with your Tamzooka. I have tested the lens with my 1DM4 and while all static subjects came out nicely - tracking birds, cars, motorcycles etc was a complete failure. Now, I have no idea whether or not the Tamron firmware update fixed the issue for 1DM4 owners, but I will rent the lens again after confirmation from the rental company that the lens has been serviced by Tamron.

Cheers.

I'm optimistic that the firmware fix will solve that problem, it helped immensely with tracking on my 70d. Initially had terrible results with that combo.
