One nice thing about not having a longer lens is that I have a lot of room to crop for composition. Haha.

Whilst some were starting to get worried by the rising tide, others were just not that bothered...

I recently bought a 1DIV used for my upcoming trip to Yellowstone and so far I really like it.

Thanks. I initially bought it as a backup, intent on selling it once my trip was over; but now I am liking it so much I might keep it.

I still can't say what it is about the 1Div but it sure is a nice camera.
I lean toward thinking it is the colors and the ISO performance over the
7Dii. I know the statisticians say that the ISO variance between those two
is not that large--maybe it's my childish level of processing, but to my eye
the ISO nod goes to the 1Div.
Some would say the 7Dii has the AF advantage. Since 99 percent of the time
I'm using single center point even that is moot.
FPS is samie same so I'm often in a quandary which is only to worsen once
the 1DXii gets here.
All that said there are many times when I'm going to grab my dinky GX8 and
love carrying it.

I wish I knew how to post process things a little better.... I didn't even try to get rid of that tree, but wished I could in a seamless way.
