I'm looking for a 1D MK IV to replace my forever playing up 7D2 but getting one with a low(ish) shutter count is proving difficult. Great shots guys.

Canon R6 II, RF 800mm.

Well, mine came with a shutter count of 122K. I've seen them recently with much lower shutter actuations, both here and on eBay. I'm sure one will turn up for you soon.

How bad do you want one :)
In a couple of weeks I'll have a 1DXii and really can only hold two cameras at a time ;)
I don't mind my 7Dii so something really needs to move on.
Mine came with I think 44K and I've probably added 6-7K, primo body but the top LCD gets
a bit dim at 2F and no reason why...doesn't affect performance so I never pushed the issue
to Canon. I would miss ROF though, that's probably the neatest feature I've had on any camera.

Probably a brain freeze but what's "ROF"?

If I remember correctly, the guy I bought my 1DMk4 from had the shutter replaced for ~$300.

Re: the 1D4 for sale mentioned above ... excellent deal ... mine was $2200 Canadian (about $1650 USD) with well over 100K actuations (in spite of which it works like it was new), with 3 cells, box, etc.

But I am in the UK guys!

I'm sure you have brick and mortar stores as well as UK based websites that sell used camera bodies. Have you looked on Amazon UK?. Here in the States, the Amazon prices can be just a tad higher than other sources but you often get pristine used lenses or camera bodies...... low shutter counts and lenses that look brand new. I have no idea about Amazon UK, of course.... but it might be worth your time to check it out, if you haven't already.
