Apr 20, 2018 16:04 | #5974 Tom Reichner wrote in post #18529868 My 1D4 is still producing successful images, and I have not yet seen the necessity of upgrading to a newer body (well, at least not until the newer bodies like the 1Dx and 5D4 drop down to about $1,000 and $1,300, respectively). Two 1D4 pics that are on the newsstands now: . Nice works Tom... mind to share your personal settings on the 1D Mark IV for these type of shots? The 2nd one was shot from a solid tripod and Wimberley II head. . It says that I had the 2x tele-extender on it. . I didn't. . I had the 1.4x tele-extender on. . This is just a glitch in the way that Apple's program, Photos, reads my EXIF data. . I just look at the focal length part to see what I had on - in this case it says "560mm", so I know that I had the 1.4x on. Both images were shot in Aperture Priority. Both were shot using Auto White Balance. . Because I can always adjust white balance after the shot, why not use Auto? . "Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
