i used to, but now i either use dpp, or cs6 if i'm feeling fussy. i really love b+w for sport and landscapes and spend far too long on them instead of doing any real work :-D

I found a really good tutorial for Nik Dfine. I didn't realize how much you can do with this program. It has a lot of options to selectively reduce noise in just certain areas or colors. Very impressive.

Thanks for the link. I went on the Topaz site and downloaded a version allegedly capable of running on Windows 7, but no joy. May be a bad packet, I'll try again later...

Topaiz Denoise is a really nice noise removal software. I ran it with Windows 7 for years even the AI version up until about a few months ago when I finally updated to Win10 because Win7 is no longer supported.

I went 400D, 40D, 1D mk3, 1D mk4, when that failed back to the mk3, now back on mk4. My negative transferral equity prevents me from advancing much further and the triple whammy of being 60, from Yorkshire and retired means I don't like spending money :p what noise reduction do you run?

What's going on with his nose? I know he's injured but what are those strips on his nose?

They are Steristrips to hold the wound together, (open to the bone) but he bled thru them and they started to peel.
Should have been glued tbh, to finish the game, or sent to hospital for stitches.

Wow that's insane. Some tough dudes out there for sure. Nice capture showing how these guys play through their injuries.

We live in a farming community and they don't have time for injuries. Saw him this morning on his quad, doing his best impression of a panda

Anyone upgrading their 2009 1D X Mark II for a 2021 R3?

This is the 1D mkIV thread, not the 1DX mkII thread!
