A Duck, A Hawk and A ?

You'll be hooked in no time Matt !!!!

The frist two shots are good in that you've pretty much nailed the focus with a short DOF which makes the ducks 'pop', nice and sharp with really good lighting coming from behind you. The best aspect of those two shots is the low angle you took them from......ie, at their level/eye level. (They would only be very so-so shots if they had been taken from an angle looking 'down' on them). One nit-pick would be to try and compose/crop so the subjects are away from centre. eg, in the first one have the duck on the right side of frame so he's 'looking' into the image instead of out of it.
