Is there such a thing as a history brush in Lightroom 2.4? Or is there a way to Mask in LR? What I am trying to do is bring out a certain color in one area but not in another. They are the same color so when I choose to change that color it of course changes both. Anyway to work around that in LR? I know there is in PS, just not sure about LR. Thanks!

Yes I noticed that but is there a ways to erase or mask with that brush?

The brush IS a mask.

If you want pixel manipulation, go get yourself photoshop.

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

You can use it to reverse an effect that you have applied globally. For instance, you have increased saturation by 10 units but there is one object that you don't want increased saturation on it, so you brush in -10 saturation. Here is an example where the poster made the image B/W and then used the brush to selectively return the color.

Thanks a ton Tzalman, it's people like you who make this forum so helpful.

As for Basroil, I have photoshop but I wanted to know if this was doable in LR. Like PS there are a thousand ways to do the same thing. Wanted to know about LR. But thanks for trying.
