Can anyone give me an ID on this first bird? I added a few other bird shots from this shoot too.

That's a heron I've never seen before -- the last time I went to this part in the early morning, there were Great Blue Herons and Great Egrets all over the place. It wasn't until sunset that a GBH returned, so I was lucky to have waited -- here's another sunset shot with the GBH in it.. thank you so much for the compliments, txcanon!
