These fieldfares landed on a tree at the bottom of my garden , i took these shots with full zoom and through a double glazed window , the light wasnt great but i thought they were cool . Just proves how good the canon camera is .

Nice captures, you could perhaps try upping the contrast a touch.

Try adjusting the levels.

Here's my try on your 1st image. Added a touch of sharpening too.
