At the risk of sounding like a d-bag, I'm going to offer you some candid crit on these and hope you understand that I am trying to help you improve on these, not just bustin your hump.

1. great time, very crisp but your subject is underexposed. this is screaming for some flash. fix the horizon as well. If you want tilt, then tilt but this just looks like a horizon that's off

2. way too much stuff happening in the foreground that detracts from the subject and draws your eye all over. Lighting is good as is the timing

3. underexposed and the processing does nothing for me on this, again, horizon

4. I like the processing here a little more with the cool tones. still flash on the subject would really help or consider a silhouette and intentionally underexpose him. Either way, the b/g clutter of riders takes the attention off your subject and kills this.

5. massive boost which owns but if you are going to only shoot his backside, it need to b emore creative. Had you shot him head on, you' wouldn't have the other riders in the frame and it would have much more impact, imo.

I think you have the eye for this and it shows that you understand the sport (I assume you ride as well). Please take the crit for what its worth, I wouldn't have offered it up if I didn't think you had some real potential shooting bmx (based on what I see here). Good luck,.

thanks for CC i am trying to save for a flash right now i dont have a flash that works well enough for me to shoot bmx with. i sort of like the riders in forground in shots 2(less in this shot) and 3 it adds a feel like your watching session yourself imo, shot four was 2 stops over exposed becuse i tryed use my cameras pop up flash wich did not fire :/ and the riders in the back round there are really a problem.

but thanks again for the crit and i will keep it in mind the next time i go shooting (and hopefully have some better pics for it) and yes i do ride.
